Journey

I've always been a fan of the band Journey. Ever since the 8th grade when Escape came out. I must have listened to that album a gazillion times. I even lost my virginity while that album played in the background. I never made the connection until this morning. Maybe thats why I like Journey so much....

Last night, I sat in a Starbucks for the first time. I'll be 39 next month. Can you believe it?! I've never actually "sat" in a coffee shop before. It was pretty interesting seeing the other types of people who were sitting in there. I was there for a quick meeting with the ladies in the Fundraising group at Little Man's pre-school. I wish I could say I was there doing something cooler but the truth is I wasn't. I am so not cool.

Well, Diva has set the family record for the most text messages in a month. She's over 1700 and it's only 2 weeks into the billing period. So, consequently, we're shutting off her text messaging. I just don't get why you would have a typed conversation that takes 10 minutes, when you can have the same conversation in about 30 seconds over the phone. So her Dad told her tonight that it was going to be shut off. Her response, "Can I text my friends to let them know that I can't text them anymore?"
