Phew!

I just did a marathon house cleaning today and I'm exhausted. We're having 5 teenagers over tomorrow for a sleepover. It's not that I want the house clean for the kids, its the parents who are coming over on Sunday to pick them up that I want the house clean for. Hopefully it will last until then... Why did I pick last month to get rid of the cleaning lady?

Must be party season

Little man and I have been to two birthday parties in the last two weeks and we have one more today and another one on Tuesday. I'm getting kind of kid partied out, not to mention broke. Today's party is at Chuck E Cheese. That should be fun and loud...

I've been blogging a little over a year now on our "family website" blog. Sometimes there are things I'd like to say that just aren't appropriate for a "family" blog. So here's my new outlet. I have to say I'm pretty excited! Finally the opportunity to speak candidly without worrying about what my family or kids might think! Yipee! Oh, the freedom!
