WTF!

I haven't logged into my Neopets account in like months. I know its a game for kids, but I enjoyed playing it. Anyway, so they have this thing called Neopets Premium. It's pretty cool. No ads and some really cool features. I used to subscribe but then changed my credit card and didn't update it so my subscription was canceled.

I've been playing it again this past week and since I have nothing else better to do, thought I'd try and updated my Premium information, which I had to do over the phone. I hate talking to people over the phone. Especially for stuff like this.

I talked to David today. He was nice, until I couldn't confirm my old credit card number. All I wanted to do was update the new number. I wanted to give them a new number so they could charge me more money. So I could GIVE THEM MONEY. I don't know what the old number was you dumbass. And NO, I'm not going to call my credit card company and see if they have the old number. Don't give me that security bullshit. Just take the f***ing number and turn my sh*t back on!

After I hung up on David, I figured out how to do it online. Like he said I couldn't do. Well David, I guess you are an idiot like I said you were.

Maybe I don't need it

I got this flyer in the mail the other day about Verizon and their bundled service for calling, ineternet and DirecTV. So I thought I'd at least give them a call and see if it could save me any money or even if I can qualify. So I call them and the recording comes on that I'm caller number 41! Forty-One! Holy smokes! I'm not sitting on hold that long!

Now I'm Creeped Out

On Monday, just after I posted my "Mmmmm....Beer" post, I received a weird call on my cell phone. It was a young lady saying "I'm gonna kidnap you" then she hung up. I didn't think much about it, she was totally non-threatening sounding (other than the whole kidnap part) and I just figured it was some kid who called the wrong number. And of course the caller ID was blocked.

So today, I get another call from a blocked number. I said "Hello". The person on the other line said "Hello". Then before I could say anything else, porn came on the line. Typically I don't mind a little porn but it wasn't even dark out yet!

One of the many newsletters I subscribe to (and yes, there are too many) is iVilliage. Today, as I'm reading what seems like their daily newsletter, they have this cool description of a pop-up storage container. Since I'm totally into organizing and cleaning out all of the clutter from our lives at the moment, this sounds like something that would be perfect for our house.

Totally cute, comes in like three different colors, lightweight, folds flat for storage, etc. $60 bucks. Yep, that's right. Sixty. I'm thinking we won't be getting one of these any time soon.

Little man and I have been to two birthday parties in the last two weeks and we have one more today and another one on Tuesday. I'm getting kind of kid partied out, not to mention broke. Today's party is at Chuck E Cheese. That should be fun and loud...

I've been blogging a little over a year now on our "family website" blog. Sometimes there are things I'd like to say that just aren't appropriate for a "family" blog. So here's my new outlet.
